Stories that stayed with me

Three smiling people standing in front of a neon NBC peacock logo, with the person in the middle holding an Emmy award.

These are the pieces that have shaped me as a journalist and storyteller. They reflect my commitment to cultural storytelling, my civic engagement, and my belief in the power of community-centered narratives.

As the producer of “To the Polls,” I created a video voter guide designed to demystify the voting process in Georgia and encourage meaningful civic participation.

My goal was to make election information more accessible, break down confusion around voting logistics, and meet audiences where they are with clear, engaging content that empowers them to take action at the polls.

'Built on Buford Highway' explores Hispanic community along metro Atlanta's cultural corridor

Executive Producer

As the executive producer of “Built on Buford Highway,” I set out to amplify the voices that define one of Atlanta’s most culturally rich corridors. My goal was to create a mini-documentary that highlights the diversity of this area and honors the immigrants and longtime residents who built their lives along Buford Highway. I wanted viewers to walk away with a deeper appreciation for the cultural influence, resilience, and history that make this area so meaningful. Earning recognition as the Georgia Broadcaster Best Non-News or Sports Program was a powerful reminder of why these stories matter — and why they deserve to be told.

More than a number

As the producer of “More Than A Number,” I work to restore voice and dignity to victims whose cases have gone cold or feel forgotten. My focus is on the people behind the headlines, honoring who they were and supporting families still searching for answers.

By collaborating with loved ones, law enforcement, and community advocates, I aim to bring renewed visibility to unsolved cases so no one is ever reduced to just another number.
